The tour starts from Darajani Zanzibar town so once you book make sure you be at Darajani and we shall pick you from there to Jozani where you will enjoy a nature walk through in Jozani monkey forest , it`s a guided tour so don`t worry about anything . Jozani jungle contains about 100 tree species from a total of 43 families.

It is home to the red colobus monkeys, rare species found only in Zanzibar and many other species including Sykes monkeys, small buck, chameleons, bush babies, Ader's duiker, over 50 species of butterfly and 40 species of birds and bush pigs yet all these animals are full of character and roam freely in their ecosystem . The Jungle is situated 38km southeast (about 20 minutes drive) from Stone Town on Zanzibar Island.

It is a narrow neck of land between Chwaka Bay to the north and Uzi Bay to the south. It is home to the red Colobus Monkey, a rare species found only in Zanzibar. These monkeys are full of character and roam freely. These areas and species are protected under our governments' Conservation Policy Laws, which ensure these peaceful animals remain protected from villagers and possible extinction. Revenue generated from tourism is channeled towards the local surrounding villages near the forest in order for them to sustain their livelihood, which means both dolphins and humans are happy and being taken care of!
